You know how it goes—you’re in the parks, the crowds are thick, and the heat can be intense. But you’re not quite ready to sit down for a full meal or you forgot to make reservations. That’s where the lounges come in! They’re a great option for a quick break—better than quick service, but without the commitment of a sit-down restaurant. And the best part? They’re not just for adults! Kids can enjoy mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, making them a fun choice for the whole family.
Here are some of our favorites. Keep in mind, we haven’t made it to every lounge in the parks yet, so if yours isn’t on the list, we just might not have been there yet!
Epcot
Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar
Location: Italy Pavilion
Atmosphere: Cozy, intimate wine cellar with rustic Italian décor, warm lighting, and comfy seating. It feels like stepping into an old-world Italian wine cellar.
Menu Highlights: Over 200 Italian wines, cheese and charcuterie boards, paninis, pasta, and desserts. We’ve even had the full menu from Tutto Italia here!
Why I like it: It’s a relaxing spot to unwind. It’s not always super quiet, but it’s perfect for resting your feet and grabbing a bite without committing to a full meal. Plus, you can walk right in and ask to be seated in the wine cellar.
Space 220 Lounge
Location: World Discovery, near Mission: Space
Atmosphere: Futuristic, immersive space station with views of Earth 220 miles above. It’s an out-of-this-world experience for space fans!
Menu Highlights: Themed cocktails like the “Black Hole Fashioned” and “Shuttle Crew,” and small plates like Astro Deviled Eggs and Blue Moon Cauliflower.
Why I like it: It’s a unique experience with incredible space views and ambiance. Just keep in mind, reservations are tough to snag, but it’s worth trying at least once.
Animal Kingdom
Nomad Lounge
Location: Discovery Island, near Tiffins Restaurant
Atmosphere: Tranquil, with travel-inspired decor and beautiful river views. It’s the perfect spot to relax.
Menu Highlights: Specialty cocktails like the “Hightower Rocks” (a watermelon margarita), Tiffins Bread Service, sliders, churros, and charcuterie.
Why I like it: It’s a peaceful oasis in the park, and the food is fantastic. Plus, it’s easy to join the walk-up waitlist through the Disney World app.
Restaurantosaurus Lounge
Location: DinoLand U.S.A.
Atmosphere: A quirky, dinosaur-themed lounge tucked inside Restaurantosaurus.
Menu Highlights: Dinosaur-themed cocktails and simple snacks like chips. You can also grab quick-service food from the main Restaurantosaurus area.
Why I like it: It’s a hidden gem, tucked away from the crowds, and it’s a cool, quiet place to cool off indoors.
Hollywood Studios
Baseline Tap House
Location: Grand Avenue, near Muppet Vision 3D
Atmosphere: A laid-back California craft brewery vibe with modern, industrial decor and outdoor seating.
Menu Highlights: California craft beers, ciders, Bavarian pretzels, cheese and charcuterie boards, spiced almonds, and strawberry hibiscus soda.
Why I like it: It’s one of our go-to spots, especially on hot days when we need a break. It’s casual with great snacks and a relaxed vibe. It’s a walk-up lounge, so be prepared to wait a little for seating.
Brown Derby Lounge
Location: Hollywood Boulevard
Atmosphere: Sophisticated, open-air lounge with a classic Hollywood theme.
Menu Highlights: Signature drinks like the “Grapefruit Cake Martini,” Derby sliders, artisanal cheese, charcuterie, and the famous Cobb Salad.
Why I like it: The Cobb Salad is a must-try! It’s a great spot for grabbing a bite and taking a break from the crowds. All seating is outdoors, so it’s best to visit during cooler times of day.
Oga’s Cantina
Location: Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Atmosphere: An immersive Star Wars cantina with exotic decor, interactive elements, and galactic music by DJ Rex.
Menu Highlights: Cocktails like the “Fuzzy Tauntaun” and “Jedi Mind Trick,” Batuu Bits, and the Happabore Sampler.
Why I like it: If you’re a Star Wars fan, it’s a must-do! The atmosphere is lively and fun, though there’s only a 45-minute limit. Reservations are recommended, but it’s still fun even if you have to stand or share a table.
Magic Kingdom
No lounges in Magic Kingdom at the moment, but a Pirate-Themed Lounge is rumored to be coming to the former Tortuga Tavern location! It’ll be interesting to see how that turns out. More details may come from D23!
Outside the Parks
Disney Springs
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar
Location: The Landing
Atmosphere: Aviation-themed, inspired by Indiana Jones’ pilot, Jock Lindsey, with fun decor and a great outdoor deck overlooking the water.
Menu Highlights: Cocktails like “Fountain of Youth” and “Reggie’s Revenge,” plus snacks like Air Pirate’s Cargo Pretzels and Snakebite Sliders.
Why I like it: Perfect for Indiana Jones fans. It’s especially magical at Christmas when it’s fully decorated, and the outdoor seating is lovely.
Enzo’s Hideaway
Location: The Landing
Atmosphere: A speakeasy-inspired bar with vintage decor and a Prohibition-era feel. It’s hidden downstairs, so it feels cozy and secretive.
Menu Highlights: Italian-inspired cocktails, pasta, charcuterie, and meatballs.
Why I like it: The speakeasy feel is fun, and it’s tucked away from the busier parts of Disney Springs. You can try to walk in, but reservations are ideal.
Boardwalk Area
AbracadaBar
Location: Disney’s BoardWalk Resort
Atmosphere: Magic-themed with an enchanted, whimsical vibe and magic artifacts scattered around.
Menu Highlights: Cocktails like “Parlor Trick” and “Pepper’s Ghost,” plus a small selection of appetizers.
Why I like it: It’s a fun, charming spot to relax, and the theming is magical. Plus, it’s a walk-in lounge, so you can easily pop in for a quick stop.
Ale & Compass Lounge
Location: Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
Atmosphere: Nautical-inspired with a cozy, sophisticated feel—perfect for unwinding after a day in the parks.
Menu Highlights: Maple Old Fashioned, Spicy Pomegranate Margarita, and small plates like Parker House Rolls with Bacon Jam.
Why I like it: Cozy and relaxing, with delicious food in a peaceful setting. A great escape from the hustle of the parks.
Riviera Resort
Bar Riva
Location: Near the pool
Atmosphere: Elegant with a European seaside vibe, offering beautiful views of the resort’s pool and nearby lake.
Menu Highlights: Riviera Spiked Iced Tea, Pineapple Mule, and Mediterranean-inspired small plates like Burrata Salad and Arancini.
Why I like it: The relaxed atmosphere, stunning views, and good food make it a great spot to wind down after a busy day.
Monorail Hotels
Steakhouse 71 Lounge
Location: Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Atmosphere: Sleek, modern with a 1970s vibe. Comfortable and casual.
Menu Highlights: Classic cocktails, crab cakes, loaded mac and cheese, and chipotle honey barbecue wings.
Why I like it: A great bar with delicious snacks and friendly bartenders. It’s the perfect spot for a casual break.
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto
Location: Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Atmosphere: Tiki bar with interactive elements and tropical decor. Expect fun surprises based on your drink order.
Menu Highlights: HippopotoMai-Tai, Zombie, and Polynesian-inspired snacks like sushi and dumplings.
Why I like it: A fun and immersive tiki experience. Be ready for a wait, but it’s totally worth it.
Honorable Mentions
Rose & Crown Pub
A traditional British pub with great drinks and a lively vibe. It can get pretty crowded, but it’s perfect for those who want more of an energetic spot.
Tune-In Lounge
A hidden 1950s retro lounge with classic cocktails and a nostalgic atmosphere. We don’t visit often, but it’s a great place to chill out and escape the crowds.
